In order to contribute to debates on the emergence of pottery in the Near East, an international multidisciplinary team of 15 specialists recognized in their field has been formed. They include 13 permanent researchers, 1 post-doctoral fellow and 1 PhD student.

The scientific team will regularly interact with the archaeologists who were in charge of the salvage and scheduled excavations at the main Early Pottery Neolithic sites in the Southern Levant. All of these responsables are permanent researchers.
